5 New Spots for Summer Eats in High Point
What’s new in High Point this summer, you might ask? Plenty! One of our favorite activities this summer has been exploring one of our stellar new businesses to visit each week. While so much good stuff is happening in High Point (like did you miss our last article on the Social District?) – we want to pause and make sure you haven’t missed some of the new spots opening their doors. Especially when it comes to eats, sweet treats, and coffee elites – High Point has a whole new lineup of yummy places!
Frady's Taphouse & Eatery
Two words: brisket tots. Get yourself down to Frady’s Taphouse and Eatery and try their southern comfort food. From burgers to sandwiches, to quesadillas, to wraps, their making brisket, pulled pork, and BBQ chicken taste amazing all summer.
Demhaj Poetry Lounge
Started by mother and son duo, Demhaj Poetry Lounge is High Point’s newest coffee shop. But this isn’t just a coffee shop – it’s a place for artists, musicians, and writers to explore inspiration and network with other creatives. With open mic nights and poetry nights, Demhaj serves up caffeine and creativity.
Sweet Dough Bake Shop
Gourmet treats that taste even better than they look if that’s even possible! Cue all the heart eyes for their cruffins (a croissant and muffin crossover!), cinnamon rolls, cakes, pies, and more!
Bistro 1605
New location, who’s this?? Bistro 1605 (formerly Alexandria’s Hamilton Street Bistro) landed might be a new spot, but the delicious dishes are still the same! With light and refreshing sandwiches and salads, Bistro 1605 is the perfect lunch spot even on the hottest days!
Black Dog Home & Café
What’s better than a delicious iced lavender latte? A delicious iced lavender latte that you get to sip while you shop! Enjoy Black Dog Home & Café's coffee while you browse their home décor and furniture selection. All of our favorite things in one place.
