All Your Needs in One Place: High Point Community Resources

It’s already been a long two months since Governor Cooper first issued the stay-at-home order due to the spread of COVID-19. Now as our state enters into Phase I of the process of returning to our regular community activity, it’s still important to know what steps to take to remain safe. But we also want to make sure that we’re providing positivity, resources in High Point, and support to all of the High Point Discovered community.

We’re so excited to share with you a resource that makes all of those things a little easier! High Point Community Resources – a guide to all-things COVID-19 resources in the city – has been one of our favorite ways the city is supporting citizens in the midst of the pandemic.

On this guide you can find information provided by the state about the stay-at-home order phases. You can also find tips on how you and your family can help reduce the spread of COVID-19 and where to get tested if you’re experiencing symptoms.

This guide also covers what High Point and other organizations in the city are providing to support our community: from financial assistance, resources for the elderly or homebound, information on taxes, what to do if you need to renew your driver’s license, updates on education, and more! You can even sign up to receive real-time updates from the guide.

Check out the link, and pass it on to people who may need to stay in the know. Remember, we’re all here to help one another. We may have to be socially distant, but we can remain socially connected by supporting one another in the challenges we face!

Keep Discovering our High Points,

The HPD Team
