Making Summer Special – Weekly Specials around High Point
Drink Specials
Goofy Foot Taproom & Brewery – 2762 NC Hwy. 68 S., Unit 109
Goofy Foot Taproom is a great place to grab a brew any day. But if you’re looking for a fun activity, Goofy Foot offers a game of trivia on Tuesday at 7pm. Plus they offer $1 pours all day on Tuesday. You don’t have to be a trivia genius to answer, “What should we do this Tuesday night?”
WiFi Wine Bar – 1605 N. Main St.
WiFi Wine Bar offers a place for the community to connect, but they also offer half price on select wines by the glass and beers on Tuesday. Then on Wednesday, you can pick up a bottle of wine for 10% off. Sip and save!
Brewer’s Kettle – 1813 N. Main St. #101
Brewer’s Kettle is always offering an exciting event. For example, just last month they hosted a special class taught by author, Elizabeth Schneider and a Spanish Wine Flight. On any given Tuesday you can pop in for a $1 off all North Carolina drafts, and on Wednesday you can grab half price wine by the glass.
Sweet Old Bill’s – 1232 N. Main St.
Sweet Old Bill’s has amazing food every night of the week, but if you’re planning on attending a Rockers’ game, make sure Sweet Old Bill’s is on your schedule. They offer $2 domestic bottles before and after any Rockers’ home game – so make sure to celebrate our team with a “cheers!”
Kid’s Specials
Blue Rock Pizza and Tap – 1529 N. Main St.
Make Monday night a family night when you stop by Blue Rock Pizza and Tap. With a paying adult, kids eat for just 99 cents. So grab the family, grab a slice and enjoy a Monday night together.
Pita Delite– 3924 Sedgebrook St.
You can mark it down – any day of the week – kids under 10 years old can eat free at Pita Delite with the purchase of an adult entree and drink. Perfect for mom’s lunch out or a family dinner.
Carolina’s Diner – 201 Eastchester Dr.
Who doesn’t like a trip to Carolina’s Diner? Breakfast for dinner just feels so right. Every Tuesday kids get to eat free from 4-9pm with the purchase of an adult meal. Make Tuesday a night for the family, and scoop up some bacon and eggs together.
Weekly Live Music
Brown Truck Brewery – 1234 N. Main St.
Brown Truck is always offering some sort of community event, but you can count on the weekends to bring smiles and fun for all. Check out their live music and food trucks on the weekend. Follow them on social media to find out what band or artist will be bringing the tunes each week. (Plus, BTB offers half off all wine on Wednesdays.)
One of our favorite things about High Point in the summer is the Arts Splash concert series. The High Point Arts Council hosts concerts from 6:30-8pm on Sunday evenings that are all FREE to attend. Grab a picnic blanket or camp chair and and choose the concerts you want to jam out to this summer. Find each concert and location on their site here.
Sweet Old Bill’s – 1232 N. Main St.
On top of their great Rockers’ drinks, Sweet Old Bill’s hosts live music every Thursday. Follow them on Facebook to find out who their featured artists will be.
