Who doesn’t love a good photo op?  We know we do & Instagram takes the cake when it comes to our favorite social media outlets.  There’s something very special about the simplicity of Instagram with its ability to share photos and memories instantly with those around you.

If you love it like we do, we want to let you in on our secret: the most Instagrammable spots in High Point, NC!  Time to put your photographer cap on and go explore this amazing community.

1. Brown Truck Brewery

Head over to Brown Truck Brewery, grab a locally crafted, cold beer and take a photo out on their patio.  This beautiful space features an open air venue with large sail shades for sun and a gorgeous brick wall mural that is a nod to the history of music.  Insider Tip: A great game to play with your friends is Name that Musician.  The beer alone is a reason to go, but the photo op is icing on the cake!

2. The Pit

The Pit is located near High Point’s Amtrak station and has become a rotating art gallery of street art (of sorts).  This one of a kind backdrop is sure to make a great photograph.  Insider Info: We hear that very soon exciting things are going to take place at The Pit so stay tuned – we will report as we learn more!

3. The Natuzzi Ship

Where else would you expect to find a building shaped like a huge ship on one side?  But of course, High Point – creative hub of the Universe.  This amazing piece of architecture created by Italian leather manufacturer Natuzzi is worth a look!

4. High Point City Lake Park

High Point City Lake Park is a pretty little lake with a marina that is perfect for a picnic.  Other activities include a large public swimming pool, boating, fishing, playgrounds, mini golf, concessions and more!  Make an afternoon out of your photo shoot.

5. The High Point Amtrak Train Station

The High Point Amtrak train station is in the heart of downtown High Point and is the original structure from 1907.  This amazing piece of the town’s history is very photographable!  Be sure to check out The Pit across the street while you are there!

6. Burger Batch

Burger Batch is one of High Point’s favorite places to divulge in a hand-crafted burger AND a milkshake that is out of this world.  You will want to whip out your camera after ordering a milkshake!

7. The Lofts at Union Square

The Lofts at Union Square is now a wedding and event venue originally built in 1904.  This building has incredible architecture including beautiful columns throughout the space.

8. 83 Custom Coffee Truck

83 Custom Coffee Truck is the most adorable little truck turned coffee shop you’ve ever seen.  Park your car and walk on up to the truck to grab a cup of freshly brewed coffee and a delicious homemade pastry.  And not to worry, just because it’s a truck doesn’t mean there isn’t plenty of space to hang out.  Enjoy their brand new outdoor patio (surrounded by the beautiful gardening skills of Grassy Knoll) or enjoy their indoor seating area filled with local artwork.  It’s the perfect spot for a power business chat or some personal chill time.

9. High Point University

High Point University is known for having numerous magnificent fountains among many things.  Schedule a tour to explore the gardens and fountains and while you are there be sure to snap some photos!
