HPD & ElevateHP join forces for Elevating Leaders Summit 

HIGH POINT, N.C. (October 16, 2023) –  

High Point Discovered, a grassroots 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to promoting the city of High Point through the strategic lens of storytelling, is excited to announce its partnership with Elevate HP, the Young Professionals initiative of Business High Point – Chamber of Commerce, to bring the highly anticipated 2023 Elevating Leaders Young Professional Summit to the community. The summit will take place on Thursday, November 2nd, 2023, at Congdon Yards. 

This collaboration aims to foster leadership development and networking opportunities for young professionals in High Point and surrounding areas. High Point Discovered, known for its commitment to showcasing the best of High Point, is taking this partnership a step further by extending an exclusive invitation to emerging leaders from local universities, granting them access to this enriching experience at no cost. 

The Elevating Leaders Young Professional Summit is designed to empower young professionals with the knowledge, skills, and connections they need to thrive in their careers and make a positive impact on the High Point community. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with influential speakers, participate in interactive workshops, and connect with peers and mentors from various industries. 

Key event highlights include: 

• Inspirational keynote addresses from renowned leaders in business, education, and community development. 
• Interactive workshops: 

• Leading Up, Down, and Across – Positive Influence Regardless of Your Position; Facilitated by D4 Concepts 
• Leading with Impact: Navigating the Mosaic of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace; Facilitated by Change Often 
• Making a Difference Through Excellent Board Service; Facilitated by the Guilford Nonprofit Consortium 

• A spotlight tour of 25 local non-profits who serve our community. Participants will learn more about them and how to get involved. 
• Networking to facilitate meaningful connections and collaborations. 

High Point Discovered and Elevate HP share a common goal of fostering a dynamic and innovative community in High Point. By collaborating on the Elevating Leaders Young Professional Summit, they hope to inspire and equip the next generation of leaders to contribute to the continued growth and prosperity of the city.
