Happy National Pizza Day, High Point friends! Second maybe only to Thanksgiving, February 9 is one day where we think you should be allowed to eat whatever you want with no guilt involved. After all, pizza can provide a great serving of grains, meat, dairy, veggies, even fruit, right? (We admit, we’re pineappleonpizza kind of people!)

To make sure you make the most of National Pizza Day, we’ve compiled a list of places in High Point that you need to visit today to celebrate. Skip the meal prep tonight, and surprise your family with everyone’s favorite dinner.

Pizza with History – Sir Pizza

A High Point icon with long history, Sir Pizza is always one of our absolute favorites! From its Tiffany lamps hanging over each table in the dining room to those irresistibly small pieces of pizza that give you an excuse to eat way more than you should, Sir Pizza has been a staple in our city for years. While Sir Pizza actually has several locations, the beloved High Point franchise was started back in 1967 by Mr. Phil Butler. For more than half a century, Sir Pizza has been serving up pies that our community can’t get enough of, so why not pick up a few today to celebrate?
