When our friends around the globe call asking for advice on how to shop #HPMkt this is exactly what we tell them too (so yes, you can consider yourself in the know)! These tricks and tips are an essential survival guide for a great time at HP Market.
How to Shop the Buildings Efficiently Definitely plan to shop one building at a time. This takes great will-power but we promise it will be worth it. And once inside, while it may be tempting to jump right into the first thing that catches your eye as soon as you set foot in the door, but we highly recommend immediately heading up to the top floor. It works best to start at the top of a building and work your way down each floor.
Wear Comfortable Shoes If heels are your go-to and comfy for you, then you go girl. However, we suggest saving the heels for those after-market parties!
Where To Grab A Bite To Eat Hands down our advice is the food trucks! Outside many of the the buildings are a variety of food trucks by local restaurants and they are always our go-to – fast and easy. The best part is more often than not our NC weather is beautiful and there are typically some nice lounge areas to dine flanking the food truck areas!
Where To Park Parking at the Oak Hollow Mall and taking the free shuttles down town will get you right to the heart of market buildings. These shuttles are on a constant rotation. Here is the address you can plug into GPS to get you to the lot and there are typically large street signs directing you there as well:
Park & Ride – North Lot, Oak Hollow Mall, 921 Eastchester Dr, High Point, NC 27262
If you prefer to park your car closer to market and walk there are several free Buyers Lots – just be sure to have your buyer badge or no parking for you. There are also several lots around town that although you have to pay to park, the proceeds go to a number of our local charities so be sure to ask! (Do Good, Feel Better).
